Support Rowan's big Scottish litter-pick walk in aid of Nepal project!
28 March 2018
Final year agriculture student Rowan Boardley is on a walking mission this Easter. Can you lend your support?
"On the 5th August, I will be travelling to Kathmandu, Nepal to volunteer in a YFC travel programme. We will be helping develop local community vegetable gardens and help maintain a smallholding at a care centre in the Kathmandu Valley. We will also be working alongside a local farming family. Volunteering will involve spending time with local children in the care centre, and organising educational activities including nutrition awareness workshops.
"In the second week, we will be involved with a sustainability programme, involving caring for livestock, crop rotation and pest control in addition to learning traditional farming techniques.
In order to raise money, I am walking from Glasgow to Fort William (96 Miles) over 5 days and 4 nights, carrying all of my kit in my rucksack whilst litter picking the whole way.
Here is my crowdfunding link:

I have raised over £300 offline, and will be hosting more fundraisers once I finish my exams."
